After first launch, a config file is created. Edit it to customize your experience:
config/chaosprotocol.json
{
"licenseKey": "YOUR_LICENSE_KEY_HERE",
"twitchChannel": "your_twitch_username",
"enableAIEvents": false,
"enableDramaMeter": true,
"enableClipDetection": false,
"voteDuration": 30,
"voteInterval": 300,
"subscriberMultiplier": 2,
"blockedEvents": []
}Configuration Options

5. Viewer Voting
Voting is the core mechanic of Chaos Protocol. Here's how it works:
Vote Starts
3 random events appear on screen with numbers 1-3
Viewers Vote
Chat types 1, 2, or 3 to vote for their choice
Chaos Happens
The winning event triggers in your game
Vote Weighting
- Regular viewers: 1 vote
- Subscribers: 2 votes (configurable)
- VIPs/Mods: 3 votes
Example chat voting:
Viewer1: 1
SubViewer: 3
Viewer2: 2
ModViewer: 3
6. Drama Meter
The Drama Meter tracks the entertainment level of your stream and can auto-trigger events during slow moments.
How It Works
- Drama increases when: mobs are killed, player takes damage, chat activity spikes, achievements earned
- Drama decreases over time during peaceful moments (mining, building, AFK)
- Auto-trigger: When drama falls below 20% for too long, a random event triggers automatically

7. AI EventsPRO
Pro subscribers get access to AI-generated events that analyze your game state and create contextual chaos.
What AI Events Consider
Example AI-generated event:
"The Nether Breach"
Context: Player mining diamonds at Y=-59, low health, no food
Effect: A small nether portal opens, spawning 3 Piglins who are interested in your diamonds...
8. In-Game Commands
/chaos startStart receiving votes and triggering events
/chaos stopStop all chaos activity
/chaos voteManually trigger a voting round
/chaos statusShow current drama level and connection status
/chaos event <type>Manually trigger a specific event (for testing)
/chaos leaderboardShow top chaos voters in chat
(Pro only)/chaos config reloadReload configuration without restarting
9. Clip DetectionPRO
Clip Detection automatically identifies highlight-worthy moments during your stream and timestamps them for easy clipping.
Detected Moments
Clip timestamps are saved to your dashboard and can be exported for video editing software.
10. Troubleshooting
Mod not loading
Make sure you have Fabric Loader and Fabric API installed. Check that all mods are for the same Minecraft version.
Not connecting to Twitch chat
Verify your twitchChannel is set to your exact Twitch username (lowercase). Make sure you're live before starting chaos.
License key not working
Copy the key directly from your dashboard. Make sure there are no extra spaces. Check your subscription status.
AI events not generating
AI events require a Pro subscription. Check that enableAIEvents is set to true in your config.
Votes not being counted
Viewers must type just the number (1, 2, or 3). Make sure voting is active by running /chaos vote.
Events not triggering
Check the game log for errors. Some events may be blocked if you're in a protected area or creative mode.
